This list, created by Corporate Responsibility Magazine, ranks the 100 most socially responsible companies. The list measures company with the criteria such as diversity, environment, governance, community, human rights, and employee relations.


The CorporateRegister is a continually updated directory of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/Sustainability and related reports from around the world. Allows searching by company for corporate responsibility reports, but this requires a free registration process.


Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World

With data going back to 2005, the purpose of the “Global 100 is to raise questions about the role of the corporation in society, to add momentum to sincere corporate sustainability initiatives, and to help the public see corporations in a broader sense.”

Global Reporting Initiative

Green Rankings for U.S. Companies –

For more than a year, the magazine worked with leading environmental researchers KLD Research & Analytics, Trucost, and to rank the 500 largest U.S. companies based on their actual environmental performance, policies, and reputation.  The list can be filtered for companies in a specific industry sector.


Responsible Shopper

We focus our research on companies that are subjects of consumer and shareholder action campaigns, and that have significant influence in their industry. World’s Most Ethical Companies by EthisSphere

From “The World’s Most Recognized Name in Business Ethics and Anti-Corruption,” this list ranks ethical companies in a number of different industries.

Many companies will have information on their websites. Lowe’s Home Corporate Citizenship Page is a good example of this. Also, take a look at this example from the Lowe’s Social Responsibility page.
