On October 11-13, 2012 Ohio University Libraries will celebra te Homecoming with its third annual homecoming display. This extensive display captivates audiences each year and pays tribute to OHIO’s history.
Memories will run across eighteen tables that will be piled high with some of the University’s top mementos. Publications such as “The Post” and “The Green Goat,” dozens of historical photographs, athletic programs, posters, scrapbooks and over 100 University yearbooks will be available for visitors to peruse. Ohio University films produced during the 1930s, 1940s, and 1970s will be screened for further visual stimulation.
So bring family and friends to join students, staff, faculty and alumni on the fourth floor of Alden Library. The display will be available:
Thursday, October 11 12 noon to 7 p.m.
Friday, October 12 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, October 13 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
For those who cannot make it this year, digitized versions of Ohio University yearbooks can be found on the Libraries’ Digital Initiatives website along with other digitized collections, documents and images.
