Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Ohio University will be closed on Monday January 16th in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Alden Library will have the following hours for the holiday:

Sunday, January 15: All floors except 2nd will close at 6pm. 2nd floor will close at midnight. Paging will be available from 6pm-midnight to retrieve items to the 2nd floor after the other floors are closed. Stop by the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor to request items for paging.

Monday, January 16: All floors will open at 12pm and return to regular hours.

The Office of Multicultural Programs and Multicultural Center has a schedule of events celebrating the holiday and Ohio University’s Compass has more on the events, including details of the keynote speech by Kemba Smith-Pradia.
